Online Craps

The popular Craps game has evolved into modern Craps, and continues to capture the hearts of Craps fans. It has been around since the ancient Egyptians.

The dice decide the outcome of modern craps. We are talking about hexes with a marking of 1-6. Nowadays, there are special tables with sides for this gambling hobby. One of the peculiarities of craps is that it can be played by several dozen people simultaneously. The rules are simple: one of the participants rolls the dice, the others – to predict what number will fall out and make a cash bet on it.

The dice, which are made of cellulose and made for craps, are checked several times during the course of the contest. After eight hours of continuous use they are changed: this guarantees a clean result.

Craps: The basics

It might seem difficult to roll the dice. But craps has some basic rules and if you don’t follow them, the dealer will remove the player and the result will not count. Firstly, the dice can only be rolled with one hand. The dice should be thrown in such a way, that they hit the edge of the table, which is in front of the shooter. If the dice fly off the table, it’s up to the dealer to decide whether to make the move count or make a new one. Though there may be many players in craps, only one has the right to roll. After losing a turn, he passes the turn to another player in the game of chance, who sits to his left.

The Two Stages of Craps

The first, Come Out Roll, is where the number of Points is decided. This is the sum of the dice rolled. If the first roll results in a number between 4-10, the Point is fixed. If 2-3 or 12, the Craps is declared – the player who shot loses, and the turn is passed. If the rolled dice gave a total of 7 or 11 – this is Natural, and a new roll must be made.

In the second stage – Point Roll – the player gets the right to roll the dice until they show the number Point or Seven. In the latter case it means winning, in the former case it means losing and passing the right to roll to the next participant.

How you place your bets

At any stage you can bet Come – on the next Point. A loss means a roll of 2-3 or 12, while a win means a roll of 7,11. Any other number dropped gives a new Point, so the bet will again be able to claim a win if that number produces up to a seven. Nothing can be done with this bet until the end of the game.

Once the Point number has been determined, a Don’t Come bet can be made. Winning and losing will be similar to the previous case, and on a roll of the number 12 the funds are returned to the player.  If the other numbers that give a new Point come up, the bet is carried forward.

At the first stage of the game it is possible to place a Pass Line bet. If you get a number 7 or 11 you are lucky, if 2-3 or 12 you lose, but if you get a Point the game continues. Another first stage bet is Don’t Pass Line. Winning and losing numbers are opposite to Pass Line bet, the order of actions on a Point is the same.

There are also bets on a six before a seven (Big Six), on 2-3 or 12 on the next roll (Any Craps), on a two on the next roll (Craps Two), on an eight before a seven (Big Eight) and others.
